they really are, haha
it would improve my quality of life if I had another one but somehow it never makes it to the top of the "annoying things to spend money on" list.
Exactly, I’m new to all this and the cost of horse ownership is becoming all to apparent, but a wheelbarrow ? since when were they made of gold ??‍♂️

We’ve just bought a new two wheeled 250 Litre wheelbarrow (we didn’t have room for our old faithful one to move over here with us). It has just cost us the equivalent of £190 ? . All to ferry ? to the muck heap!!! ?
It’s a necessity but not going to be one of my finer purchases lol

actually this thread has motivated me to do it. I've had an eye out on FB market place for a couple of years but nothing has come up :p £46 on ebay will do, it's only so i can save myself trekking back and forth to the field for poo picking, i can have a field WB and a yard WB  i had that before and it was wondrous  then I ended up with horses in 3 places and i had to rationalise :p

ETA even better, 20% off. bargain :p

After spending the last 9 months mucking four out into a tiny metal builders wheelbarrow that the previous owner kindly left for us, it feels like I’ve won the lottery and it will be treated like royalty at the price. The other bonus is it is a serious upgrade from the builders one, in that it doesn’t have evil sharp metal legs that have caught me in pretty much every fleshy bit it can whilst tipping it! ?.

I’ve seen a self propelled one, could double up as transport to and from the yard ?

Two standard ones and a sack-truck and skips. I am aspiring to a JFC tipper...

I only buy the metal ones from wickes, however I did treat my self a while ago to one of those two wheeler ones, but all my yards are unlevel and hard-core and its just too bloomin hard to push, so if anybody near Wakefield /Huddersfield wants one for a very bargain price let me know!

I was at a yard that had the Tippa wheelbarrows, not sure if you can get them anymore but they were about £400. I made the mistake of filling it up the first time I poo picked with it. After that I learned to go and empty at about half full if I was to stand any chance of pushing it to the muck heap.

Oooh, waves hand very high, me, me, me.

Our YM took all her two wheel, wheelbarrows with her when she left, including 3 broken ones. I was expecting her to simply leave them and I had plans to use all 3 for spares to make one working barrow. I have a heavy horse so anything even with 110l barrows I'm doing multiple trips to the muck heap. I miss having a HH appropriate wheelbarrow.
