I have never owned a dog in my life, I always have bitches so someone clear this up for me! (it is cause of much amusement to my OH. But he's easily amused!)

His mum's JRT was neutured last week, but they have left the little 'sack' bit behind. I thought they would just take it away

so he doesn't look like he has been cut. Does it stay there or will it shrink away?

Sorry for stupid question but as I said I've never owned a dog before and the only dog within my family was kept entire!

Boris (JRT) still got his sack! but it's much smaller than before. he was netured at 11 months and that was last August. Just checked... it's pretty much invisible now... So there you are...

My friends horse vet saw her setter (who had just been neutured) on the yard the other day and explained 'Ahhh Shamus (setter), you've had your pockets picked' - I thought it was a lovely expression!!!
