Is it more likely on warm, sunny evenings/mornings or does the weather not matter?

My last mare foaled on a very warm night but shes rather quirky anyway

Does the weather matter?

Its predicted to rain for the next few days then turn warm and im wondering whether she'll wait for the warmer weather?

Mine gave birth in the field in July at lunch time in the rain. I missed it by about an hour and arrived to see a soggy foal wobbling about and a very proud mummy. We soon got them in the stable where mum collapsed onto the straw and fell fast asleep.

Are you getting excited now? Should be a nice foal as she's a sweet mare. I seem to remember you saying that you were dieting her a month or so ago! Very discreet foal hey? Normally they foal at night in the early morning - hope all goes well
