When can I start jumping?

Hiya All,

I have been riding since i was 9 (im 14 now) and have been to various different riding schools, hoping to find my perfect one. Well, I found it and have been riding there for 2.5 years. I havn't started jumping yet and i really want to start. Is it because of my riding I havn't started, I seem to think everyone is a better rider than i am.

you should really get advise from someone who has seen you ride, but after 5 years i would definitely think you should be jumping by now! i started jumping within 2 years if not less. but do talk to your instructor, or maybe ask your parents to find out why, but dont push it! if your not ready it could be dangerous
