...do the business?!

He is near as damn it 6months now, we will be having his castrated when he's just over a year (although maybe not depending on his hip scores, we haven't quite decided.....) but I have become aware that his bits are rather, well, active...

He can get his willy out, and his balls have DEFINITELY dropped and are pretty huge, so I am thinking that he is pretty capable, am I right?

His girlfriend is a Border Terrier pup who is about 8months now and so obviously we're wanting to be super careful and make sure they don't play together at appropriate times!

Thanks in advance. x

Ok thanks! He's not yet cocking his leg or marking, is this usual? And do we have these joys to come?

Also, any idea what the hard 'balls' are, one either side of his willy but much higher up than his actual balls, and are these normal?!

Gosh can you tell we've only had a girl dog before LOL!

Perfectly normal not to be cocking yet, my friend's Weimy never did.

When he gets his lipstick out you're only seeing the tip!! Those hard ball bits are what keeps him inside a bitch, along side her muscles, when mating. There's more in there than it looks!!

Oh dear can you tell I've seen too many dogs mating!! Lmao!! :p

Oh thank god I thought my dog was a freak...!

What, you mean it comes all the way out to those balls?! MY GOD!!

xx

And sometimes takes a while to go back in after a mating! A friends GSD mated 2 bitches within 24 hours at 6 months old, and both had litters, so yes you need to keep an eye on him from now.

Holy cow...well I never knew this! Gonna see how we get on but I really want his goolies off, funnily enough my OH is very against it...! I have agreed that if his behaviour doesn't change then we won't be if he starts peeing everywhere we will. Also his girlfriend is our next door neighbour so if he stresses when she's in season...

Gawd I must be lucky - first leg cock was tonight at nine months old up against a wall (he got a little cheer for that) and he hasn't a clue what his bits are for, despite being a dominant/pushy type - maybe because I am a bad mammy - caught him trying to hump a cushion once, he got a rocket...never did it again!

My neighbour let me know her bitches are in season Dylan showing no interest so far. But like teen boys (and older men) he has no idea what its for or how to use it. Teal gets humped though by Dylan a lot, he also got "raped " by two retrievers at the beach tho, he attracts it bless him. He however squats like a girl and I get lots if she's beautiful comments lol

The little boy puppy our two had (don't pounce on me, he lives happily with my mum and now ours are done) was a sole pup as his sister died at birth, so he had a little cuddly lion to snuggle up with....

...caught him jumping the damn thing at about 6 weeks!!! OH looked on and simply said 'good lad'.

He wees on everything possible outdoors but not in the house and gets his bits out at all opportunities still, but mum isn't going to 'put him through that ordeal'!! Luckily he is about one eighth of the size of his lab girlfriend, being a mix of chi/sausage/yorkie and stays on his lead all the time so doesn't get the option to attempt any procreation!
