start to cut my horses feed down? At the moment she is in full time with plenty of haylage, and I just give her a very little feed at the beginning and end of the day. How much do they need and when do you cut it down?

Assuming that your horse is exactly the right condition at the moment (not too thin and not too fat), then it is a good idea to use a weigh tape on her once a week. When the tape tells you she is getting fatter, then that is the time to start reducing her feed intake.
