When do mares start to show?

My mare is 4 months to the day in foal and still looks quite fit and trim (she has been in work). She is a maiden and I know that until 6 months they don’t really show but the other in foal mare at the yard is less than 4 months and looks huge... also a maiden! She was scanned at 14 and 45 days.

I’m probably being paranoid but she looks far too trim! Possibly looks a bit grass fat

My maiden foaled in early June this year. I've just looked back at my progress pics and it was really only end of March that she started to change physically. Though she has got a fairly round shape anyway ?

That’s made me feel a bit better. She looks in super shape but I was hoping for a bit of a sign now that the foal is the size of a kitten or whatever the app says!
