My little mare is 4 and a bit years old and every time she seems to even up her bum sprouts up again! Also she doesn't seem to have any withers to speak of, i always thought TBs had prominent withers.. or am i confused?
Any thoughts appreciated!

My full TB did exactly this and not to scare u he grew withers last year at the age of 7 (sorry to scare u) there were only little spurts though. He has filled out really nicely on this winters holiday and he will be 8 in the end of april. (he was bred for point 2 pointing though and is a large 16.3hh!)
He still doesn't have promient withers and his bum is higher than his front end

they are meant to stop growing at 7 which means that my 14.2 pony will not grow any bigger now that he is 9 despite the fact that when i bought him as a young 4 year old he was 14.1 and was MEANT to grow altleast a BIT bigger than 14.2!!!!

So its lucky he is a chunky pony else i would have to sell him as it is my feet just about reach his knees if i ride bareback

Typical, my other horse has only just seemed to mature in the past couple of years around 8! She definately doesnt feel downhill (infact I've never sat on anything so springy) just looks a bit odd when she's slouching about!..

think u might have a bit longer to wait. my rising 7 ISH has only just leveled out. he had always been VERY croup high, as recently as a few months ago, but now he looks fairly normal...for him
