When do you give Prascend/ Peroglide

Spoke to my vet today. Since ive now started back into some form of education on Tuesdays and Thursdays I can't be at the yard to make sure my girl has her Prascend in the morning so we've changed it to having it at night so I can make sure she's taking it. What time do others have it? Does it make any difference?

i give my 2 oldies their drugs in the morning, roughly same time each day. my vet said it was better given am than pm but gave no reason for this. i think as long as the timing is consistant each day it should be ok. i would ask your vet for his opinion though.

I asked him if I could change and he said it would be fine to change it. I recon aslong as it's in her system it should help. It's working absolutly amazingly

Our pony has always had hers in the evening, in a tiny feed, the vet knows this and has never queried it. I did ask once if it was ok to change one days dose to morning as I was going to be away at night, and she said yes that would be fine.

Ahhh, it mustn't matter then. I trusted my vets judgement on it but I just wondered when others fed there's. Nights seem easier since I'm usually in no rush to leave her so I can make sure it's all down!

I give my mare her's in the evening she is only on half a tablet.

But when she was on one a day initially, vet advised to give half in the morning and half at night.
