Warmbloods stop growing?

The 2 that im bringing on are rising 4 and one is 16.2 and the other is 17hh already.

I have been told that they are quite late "bloomers" and dont stop growing till they are 7. is this true??

My gelding grew till aged 8 and grew up mentally at about 9 if that helps. Sounds like you have a monster!!

Thats what i was thinking!!! Bugg*r im only 5,3 lol im going to look like a pea on a drum!

They are bad enough with their strops at the moment.

Now I'm scared. Have a warmblood rising 5 who was 16.1 and in poor condition when we bought him on 2nd Jan, now at least 16.3 and still growing up and out. His sire and dam were only about 16.1 so I must have a genetic throwback? And I'm only 5 foot 1!!

Seriously is there any way to predict end height and also work out when it is safe to buy him his first posh saddle - saddle said give him 3 mths to change shape?
