When first diagnosed how often do wobblers wobble?

As per question really, filly (2yo) had 2 episodes of ataxia within 2 weeks but then nothing. Can they go for months before the next ones?

Trying to work out when (if i ever) know if she is in the clear or not.. had mixed results to x-rays and tests, trying to work out if she's a wobbler or if it was temporary related to an injury

Mine was ten before it showed at all. He was born with it, and competed to medium (rough and ready) with elementary points, but suddenly at ten went properly ataxic and was put down.

I can easily understand it coming and going in a younger horse, but i hope for your sake it is something else.
