For all those who have insured their horse & tack, it doesn't matter which company it's with, be aware that your saddle may not be covered as insurers don't consider it to be included in with tack.
Look at the small print & you may well find that your saddle isn't covered & is covered with an additional premium. I suppose this is because a saddle can cost anything from a couple of hundred to several thousand pounds.
Anyway, check your policies, it's better to know now than when you are considering a damage or theft claim.
