Do you think that fate plays a huge part in finding next horse???

As just keep my eyes open for next youngster???? But am i not hurry but defo have wish list.........

And defo needs to be right.......... Done travelling and search whole countryside and it's so disapointing or can be???

Yep - fate is what has got me 3.

1st horse - someone on my friends yard was going to take her to the forest and Dump her - so i got her.

2nd one - freak visit to riding centre - saw horse advertised - told other half - he said phone and we will go see him - we did - and he came home a week later.

3rd one - fed up one day at work - and was surfing the net and saw advert on horsemart - tried him on the Sat, vetted him on the Wed, he was home that night.

Was not looking for any of them at the time !

Told instructor was looking for new horse

Phone call 2 weeks later on a Monday saying she had seen one thought would fit the bill

Just happened to be flying to England the next day (Tuesday) to visit family

Took a look a long drive up to view on the Wednesday

Vetted and paid for on the Friday

Newbie arrived home a week later

If we hadnt been going to England probably wouldnt have made the expensive trip over just to see one horse.

Definitely fate and absolutely no regrets. She's fab and more

I was working at a livery yard and an owner marched into the office and said 'do you want to buy a horse? Stupid thing just bucked me off!' as she couldn't ride for toffee i said yes, got her a bankers draght next day, brought him home day after and had 8 wonderful eventing years with him.
The next one came from the same yard (i was back to visit YO) and she was in the stable across from where my boy had been 8 years previously. Hacked her out and she was AWFUL but something said BUY HER RIGHT NOW! don't know why but my gut told me to do it and she is fab now, a real talented superstar. So definately a believer in fate!

Absolutely! Long story cut short but here it is!

Lost my mare on July 2nd

Fortnight later sister mentioned mare for loan in October when she would be weaned from her foal (I didn't want to loan and wanted a horse before October! so didn't bother)

Looked at loads of horses and nearly bought one but failed it's vetting

In Sept met girl who found me my first mare (hadn't seen her for nearly five years) and she introduced me to her friend. Turned out to be owner of the mare! (Me still not too interested as still a WHOLE month before weaning and still only for loan.)

Went to see another and decided to have him, then made myself ill as I knew deep down he was wrong for me. Had just decided that day to back out and give up horse hunting as it was so stressful when friend rang and said 'are you still looking as that mare is ready now'

Went to see her and she is beautiful

Owner said good chance she will sell her if she feels things are for the best and I have her at home now and she is fab!

), got to be nice person to handle

I don't mine something that's failed as RH or P2Per. I just kept my ear to ground as i'm sure when right one pops along it will happen

Pony - I was 13 at the time, got him on part loan. Dad always said there was no way we were buying a horse. He bought him 2 months later! lol!

My other horse - i was looking for a schoolmaster to have some fun on, definately a horse with no vices. My friend heard about a 15.2hh ex racehorse project who weaved and way overpriced. I went to see him only because he was literally 5 mins own the road, on paper everything i didnt want! But i fell in love with him! And managed to negoiate on a very good price!
