Do you tend to do rising trot or sitting trot?

I usually do sitting trot as it helps me to get my Palomino into an outline

All warm-up/cool down in rising and then I normally intersperse sitting and rising unless on a baby, but that is more for me than the horse as it keeps my seat trained and more influential

Depends on which horse I'm riding! The majority have been worked more in rising as opposed to sitting. Used to do mostly sitting trot with Marble as it seemed to help her to work more correctly.

have done very little sitting with my boy yet as he's quite young BUT now the serious work starts so from now on there'll be lots...but in general start and finish with rising and sitting in the middle!
