When sheepskin goes too far...

LOL, one of my pet hates is when people use remedial or specialist equipment just because they think it looks good! It doesn't! It just looks like your tack is making your horse uncomfrortable... reaches for G&T.

The only use I could think of for the headcollar is if I was exporting/importing a horse and it would be traveling for days. Then I would get a sheepskin headcollar so it didn't get sore.
 
I think MizElz's attention should be brought to this due to her obsession....

I already have a poll guard and noseband on Ellie's travel headcollar; all that is needed now are those lovely cheekpieces....

OMG...that truely is a big obsession!!!

I have a sheepskin numnah for Buddy but that is the first and last piece of sheepskin he will be having!!!

Lol, then you could make something new once a year! (at least i think you only shear sheep once a year...)

I think long distance travel is probs the idea for that headcollar, i think i've seen pics of horses on planes with something similar
