... why do they always bluddy go sound?!
I had exam so OH took charge of parading up and down yard for 15 minutes with little ned apparantly being completely happy with himself. Next vet had him on lunge, where she said there was a very very VERY slight lameness in the trot-canter transition. Nothing to bother about, no pain or soreness or abnormalities in back, nothing. Wait a week, see what he's like, if still funny then get them back, and put him into hard work to draw the lameness out. She also said getting a physio was pointless, so saved some pennies there anyway.
Humph. I also rang the wrong vets, instead of calling out the vet which my yard uses, which would have meant no call out charge, I rang my old vets, meaning a sizeable call out fee. I prefer old vets as I know them, so now I don't know whether to stick with them through this, or just transfer details over to t'other one.
