As a child, we always had a variety of dogs of random ages in the house. When one passed on, there were always 2 or more left. I had left home when my parent's went down to having a single dog, so don't really know how she coped being on her own.
I now have 2 ageing Pointers, who although fit and well are probably in their twilight years now.
So, do we get another dog now, so when one goes the other isn't left to pine, or am I wrong to think she will pine? Or will introducing another dog upset the balance that we have now?
They are sisters and have only been parted when the clumsy one has been in the vets overnight having been stitched up.
