when to sell my stallion...

hi everyone...

i was just wondering.. when do you think will be the best time to advertise my stallion?

he's a wonderful boy (who doesn't know how to use his bits and isn't interested in girls - travels to shows with them) so i dont have to worry about him being funny with mares in season etc... and he's a fantastic dressage/jumping prospect... but wondered when you think the market will pick up a bit and it will be a good time to sell...

I think it has just picked up - have noticed an increase in prices over the last week or 10 days for definite!!

Broodmares definatley seem to be selling fast at the moment - everyone i call about is pretty much sold very quickly! (or has something wrong with it!)

However, thats from a breeding poinof view, if you are selling him as a ridden stallion who isnt into girlis then maybe wait another month?? just thinking it gives people time to get over christmas etc!
