Morning everyone!
Just wondering when people take rugs off? Its sunny today with bit of breeze and my cob was blanket clipped in november so a lot has grown back now and dont know if its warm enough to let him out rugless?

I always like to think about what I would do at these temperatures in autumn. Not sure about you but mine would usually be out in the day rugless at these degrees in October time :)

Agree double figures - no fil rug (sad to admit I probably won't take them off completely until the mud has dried a little, but that is because Polo is Irish x hippo !!!!)

unclipped so cant speak for clipped etc but our rule is always above 5 centigrade off and below on(depending on age etc condition old boy was the 5 cent rule) Cob never rugged as full coat even at minus 10 if it happened). My pet hate is horses sweating which people forget with rugs when sun comes out in day time. So that rule was off in day time and back on for night.
