I sprayed 2 fields with headland polo and it's worked on flowering buttercups (except for the strip I missed!) and most of the docks and rag. At the weekend I'm going to pull the rag out (it will then have been 16 days) should I wait 3 weeks?
Also the buttercups are withered up, I'm just checking how long to leave it before I can put the horses back on?
Thanks for any advise

If you've got ragwort, you are meant to wait 6 weeks, unless you can guarantee that you will pull every bit out. Ragwort it at it's most dangerous when it's dead.

Normal weeds - 2 weeks, as above re ragwort (but if there are only a few plants and you are vigilant you have got them, should be ok).

It normally tells you on the label, I think Polo is 28 days but could be wrong. That's apart from ragwort of course - until it is all gone for that.

we have just sprayed for buttercups and the label says 2 weeks. It is working on the in flower ones, they are definately shrivelling up. Downside is it is that wet that the other half of the field is getting trashed Doh!
