How do you decide who to visit your horse first?

This sounds odd. I put an advert up for Phil (wasn't expecting many replies to be honest) before he had his saddle sorted. I've got his saddle on order but with fitting and me being back at uni) it could be a month of so before everything is ready.

I have been honest with anyone who messaged me stating his saddle isn't ready however I'm happy to contact them as/when it is. But how do you decide who to come first? In a months time some of the people may have found something else however I am shocked at the number of people interested (he's nothing special, 10, not done much etc).

I really don't want to waste anyone's time, especially if they do like him and don't want people travelling long distances if I decide to go with someone else.

Do you order it by suitability or distance or a bit of both? I would hate to mess people about especially as I'm so grateful that people have shown an interest.

Well I would personally give suitability priority because you are looking for a home for your horse. IMO, A brilliant home that is a bit far is worth 10x the worth of a second rate one close to home.
