Please post the last time you had a laugh at your pony for something silly/funny they did.

Mine was at Puzzle, yesterday, when she picked up an overreach boot, threw it around and then got the velcro part stuck to her forelock. Took me a longgg time to stop laughing to take it off her face!

Your turn. xx

At the weekend when one of them drank my husband's cup of tea (I stood and watched of course) and then went away with the plastic cup, I then left my bemused other half wandering around trying to remember where he had put it.

They make me laugh a lot though, good therapy are horses!

This evening, when she sucked all the carrots out of her feed and had so many in her mouth she started spewing orange farm and looked like she had rabies.xx

This afternoon when my horse was standing in his stable with a rug folded over the door, and started licking the rug - the concentration on his face was adorable! Then after I'd ridden him, I took his bridle off and laid it over the stable door to do his saddle, and he started licking the bridle.... he's a weird horse! I don't know if he's trying to clean stuff or if it just tastes good or what. Perhaps it's because I gave him his first salt lick for Christmas and he loved it so much he wants to find something else that tastes like it.

Tonight, Samba is really scratchy atm for some reason and I was giving her a itch and she stretched so far out she touched the electric fence she jumped but then came straight back to me with her head up in the air saying " scratch me mum scratch me "

Oh and Toffee had a bum scratch and squashed my sister against the shelter wall where she had pretty much sat down in ecstasy lol Think my guys need a bath :D

This morning after his breakfast when he picked his bucket up and was smacking it against the wall.

Poor bucket, it gets all kind of abuse, hit against the wall, hit on me, dropped in his water bucket. :D

Over the weekend. My usually imaculate girl found the deepest, muddiest puddle in the field & for a good 5 minutes kept stomping her front hooves in it sending the biggest splashes of water spraying into the air, whilst all the others stood & watched!! :)

Today out hacking me and YO were on our sensible young horses aged 4 and 5. A plastic sack was lying over a farm wall blew up in the air right infront of them both of them leapt up and stared straight at it like two bambis then walked straight past as though it didn't happen lol so funny!

Last weekend - there is a public right of way through the bottom of the field and all i could see was a dog fly over the style then a guy trying to climb over after him with Fyn stood there gently headbutting him in the back - dont think he wanted him in his field somehow...

Then he tried to play with a mouse that was in his stable, and he was getting very excited making all sorts of grunts and whinnying :) I swear my horse thinks he's a dog...he chases rabbits round his field...

I also gave him a scratch and he turned into bambi with legs all over the place. and then when I'd stopped he just turned and looked at me as if to say "carry on mum"

Yea safe to say he's a nutter and makes me laugh a lot and when you do laugh he just does it all the more :D

Oh, I laugh all the time now when I'm riding Billy. He is just so enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky and everything he does he does with a huge grin on his face.

I can feel him grinning/bursting with happiness so much that it makes me smile just sitting on him :D

LOL'd when I was warming him up on sunday; he was just so happy to be doing things it busts out of him!
Today he was up to his old tricks; he picked up a headcollar, was twirling it around, and then chucked it at the gate. He then walked over to the gate, picked it up and repeated the process!

Today, we were getting him used to me getting on and off. He was getting so bored of this, he started to snort and sniff :p
On our little hack around the yard, we did some small banks, and was loving it, and when I took him for a walk around the back field, he was sniffing/snorting the entire time :D

My horse is quite a comedian :p

Saturday- I have treats in my grooming box under the brushes, I tend to keep it away from Spot for this reason as he knows they are there, I left it too close, turned my back to go and get his tack for 5 minutes, I came back to find the brushes turffed out the box, and him with his nose in my grooming box rummaging around eating all the treats! made me laugh so much! :D

Sunday- When I turned him out into his field (which of course is muddy and he is a girl sometimes and doesnt like it, altho keeping him in does his head in) and as I shut the gate behind me he poked his tongue out! monkey! :D such a character :D love him.

Every day at Bob - pulling faces and acting like a clown, playing tig in the arena with him and him sulking cause it is strictly walk only. I was sat in there on the floor yesterday, he came over knocked me onto the floor and started pawing at me, then gently nipped me (coat pocket) and walked round me tossing his head like a woman in a pantene advert! He laughs at me too - pulls his lip tight across his teeth in a wonderful cheshire cat impression.

i laugh everyday at my 2 one of them will do something silly, funny face, a snuffle at my face or purely and simply turn prick ears when she hears my voice and trots across field - that is priceless :) smiley oh yes from ear to damn ear god love you baby xx

Oscy always makes me laugh, he's a right cheeky chap, even when he's a pain in the bum like he is being at the moment. I was kind of annoyed at him tonight as he bucked at my head and missed my face by about a foot. Having a tantrum at being asked to move over. (follwed by an hour of manners lessons!)

So i brushed the grumpy sod (with his new manners and moving over without having to be touched) and chucked him back out into the field where there was a gorgeous huge fresh bale of haylage. He got so excited and took a massive chunk out of it but he had too much to even close his mouth lol. He just stood trying to chew it, with it spilling out all around his face. Had to drop it in the end, he was gutted haha. :D Fatty.

I've taught mine to pooh in a large green bucket but I also pick up his droppings into it so imagine the look on my face when after he had used it he started to move his rear hooves further apart whilst trying to lower his hind quarters and then he started to sway from side to side.

I still don't know what he was doing but I wish I had filmed it because it was so funny but also very peculiar.

Olly makes me laugh every time I give him something that isn't hay or his normal hard feed, he always eats it then turns his nose up at it! considering he has a full moustache which quivers when he does the flemmen response it always cracks me up!

A couple of days ago. Star had finished her breakfast and was hanging over the door while I chatted to a friend.

She carefully picked her headcollar off the hook and threw it at me!

She is comical in that when I laugh she whickers back which sounds like a giggle and it just goes on and on :p

after the frost there was a bag of carrots that had gone to soup...
i was late for my lesson, ran down to the stables, tacked him up and just as i was getting my stuff on, he shot out his stable, trotted towards the bag of carrots, picked them up and shook them around.. and carrot was everywhere!..all over me and him!.. and he had orange lipstick for days after.. instructor wasnt too impressed!!

Last night when I went to get them in and Lottie who is 31 and thoroughly past her hell raising days looked at Beau and Ice. She only looked, ears half back not even that fierce a look. Ice made herself small and Beau got behind me shaking. Lottie pricked her ears shook her head and snorted before trotting off looking pleased with herself, as if she was saying, 'i've still got it'! I'm sure B and I play along as they are far bigger and stronger than her now!

Oh and this morning when I got to the yard early and ice was lying down, she got up to come see me and beau looked over the partition at her getting up then pulled a vile face, at me, not ice, she would never nip me but it was a total 'what the hell did you wake the baby up for?' then she came for her cuddle too. Had to laugh at her big boot face looking soo disgusted.

The funniest was Ice absolutly wetting herself, all 4 feet straight up in the air and came down running, the 1st time I sneezed while riding her.

I laugh at ours all the time but some recent examples -

last week when my friend rang me to say that berg had got out of field and was climbing on the muck heap! He had a very smug I'm the king of the castle look  he is a Shetland in shire x body!

on Sunday when I rode berg and he was being so naughty it was funny!

this morning when he was pulling grumpy faces when I tried to kiss his nose :D

My friends 37yr old makes us laugh all the time because she is so naughty but we love her and our very proud she's still with us, even though she is regularly threatened with the prit stick factory :D

Last night, two separate times.

1. OH was sat on top of stable wall sorting the wooden bar he's put across so I can hang likits for Harry. Harry was eating his dinner so hadn't realised OH was up there, but when he looked up, did the biggest snort, turned around, emptied his dinner on the floor and then stood at the back of his stable snorting. After a couple of minutes, he realised his dinner was still then so did diddy steps towards it, keeping his eyes on OH and even when he did put his head down to eat, kept looking up to check where his was.

Cue giggles, bless him, all good bombproofing

2. Harry attempting to help sweep stable after this DIY by a) standing right in the way to see what was going on and then b) trying to eat the brush handle.

Gotta love them :)
