When will I see grass again...?

This will be my first spring on my own land. I rent 2 acres and started renting in Sept last year. The field has been split into 2x 1 acre paddocks and one of the paddocks has been rested since end of October. The winter paddock is on a slight hillside and is faring OK considering massive amounts of rain.
The rested paddock is bare grass but not muddy so I was just wondering when the fresh grass starts coming through and when would be the best time to add some seed?

Ours is growing where we took horses off mid jan - definitely new grass coming through and the lawn is growing like billyo

Might be a bit milder where you are, lawn is coming through but paddock is still standing in water so I guess it might take a bit longer.
