This might sound a silly question, but when will Indie stop growing?

She's just turned 7 and she's still growing, she's just gone up a size in rugs and this week she's gone bum high again. She's connemara x irish draft. It's not a problem as I would quite like a 14.2hh, but I don't want to overface her if she's still developing. She's worked quite hard in the past, before I bought her, hunting and a bit of riding school. She's not grown with me in the past year until now but I have moved her yards onto better grazing and care. Any ideas when she might stop growing upwards? She's filled out alot already in the last few months but she's bum high again now!

I would expect another year of growing. Most horses dont stop growing untill they are 8yrs old. Though some horses do most of there growing in the first 4 years of there lives, Irish Draft types tend to keep growing until 8. I have a 3yr old ID and he is already standing at 17.2hh :O Cant wait until he stops growing! haha

thank you! All my previous babies have stopped age 5 or so, she's a bit of a shock but I guessed it must have been the ID side :D
