Well done - 27kgs is amazing!

We have a mutual HHO friend with whom I went to Freerein along with other HHOers. We did a self-guided tour as said mutual friend is ace with navigation - if it were up to me, we'd have gone round in circles.

It really is a fabulous way to spend a few days - somehow all day to day stresses just disappear as soon as you leave the yard there. The wildlife and views are pretty amazing too and the horses are fabulous.

Interesting about the ride to the coast as always fancied it but maybe not if it's gravelly.

Before we left the yard my sister's horse practiced his downward dog with her on top (he got very low!) so we were all in hysterics before we'd even got to the end of the drive, that rather set the tone!
