Many people have said on here that there are bargains to be had 'in the current climate'. Well, (browsing when I should be working!) I can't see any.

The only 'cheap' horses I can find are those with issues or are ex-racers. Just goes to show, I think, that a good horse will always fetch a decent price.

I'd be happy if you can prove me wrong!

I would have to agree with you. I've been looking about and I think people are asking too much for something that isnt special just to recover costs.
I havent yet seen any bargins, if i do I'll let you know!

I completely agree with OP.
It all comes down to the quality of horse and training in question. The good ones will in general hold their price, and there are still people out there who will pay a price for a good horse.

The maket is flooded with average-cr@p quality, poorly schooled animals with owners who don't even realise they fall into this catagory!
