where are all the horses for sale .....

We have been looking for a good few weeks now for a horse for my niece, she has just outgrown her 14.2 which we sold straight away, and we are now wanting a horse for her. but we cannot find anything at all, what we have found have all sold or have issues which we don't really want like napping etc, and others that are priced well out of our budget, which is 4k so we are not being tight, we want a allrounder mainly to do showjumping at riding club level, if anyone knows of anything please let me know, we are in West Yorkshire but are willing to travel a couple of hours for the right horse

It's the time of year, there's always a slow down now because all the seasons have started, normally pics up again around september with people not wanting to take horses through the winter/hunters coming up

How competent a rider is she?  How old is she?

she is 14 nearly 15, and about 5ft 7 she looks much older than 14, and she is a good rider she has been on all the riding club/pony club teams for SJ and XC etc, and has ridden since she could walk, and had a pony since a very young age, she doesn't want a plod but then nothing mad either.

This horse is owned by an aquaintance. As far as I am aware he should go far in the right hands. She is keen on dressage, but he has jumping in his blood. He is ready to go to a competition home. I think he is still for sale. He is VERY handsome. (wolf whistles)

I know what you mean; I'm looking for a 15.1hh - 15.2hh horse at the minute that will be slightly forward going (i.e not a plod, kick kick ride) but must be sensible and not green. My budget is 5000 but can't find anything within an hour - 1.5hours to go view. I viewed one this week about an hour away but not quite perfect (bit too strong). I would class myself as a competent novice but everything seems to be a 'not novice' or 'suit competition rider' horse and I just want it to do low level stuff without causing me a heartattack. If I notice anything for your niece in my horse searches I'll let you know.
