I've set my criteria on height no bigger than 15.3hh ideally 15.2hh, preferably under 7k, able to compete Novice straight away, be good in traffic, etc.

It would appear that I'm 3k short, over 16hh they are plentiful and within budget.

Where are they ????

I guess it depends on how people do their searches;), because I'm adamant this time to go smaller anything 16hh I bypass.

Is yours still for sale, if so Pm me the details, I'm getting so despondent:p

I'm selling one that's 16.1hh that would totally fit your bill. He is used to being ridden and handled by a small lady (I'm 5'4" and a size 8). He is very well mannered and easy to do, I've always taken him to shows on his own, plus he is very compact (takes a 6ft rug). PM if you want to know more. What's your thinking behind wanting something smaller because over 16hands doesn't automatically mean a BIG horse.

Well I bought on impulse in some respect a 16.hh 4 year old, who is now a rising 6 year old and a good 16.2hh, that in itself is fine, he is finely built I whilst I'm small 5ft 2 we do look good together.

However..........

He is so fit now and getting stronger that he is too much for me, I've persevered because he is a beauty and generally a lovely boy, but he has stamina and some.

He is going away on Thursday to an eventer who has their eye on him where he will be worked on the jumping and XC, this is an area I just don't have the bottle for anymore.

So my thinking was try something smaller therefore not as strong and I don't really need anything "big".

Well thats my thinking anyway.

Yes pm your horses details.
