Cumbria has some of the lowest numbers of farriers to horses. Most farriers near me struggle to get out every 6 weeks. My farrier covers a huge area and is really struggling to fit me in, refused my friend and dropped a few clients as he is just too busy... so come here please!!

Horserider - I agree there are plenty of farriers in Leicester, but very few decent farriers. By far the worst area I have been for good farriers and those recommended generally dont have time for new clients. Any recommendations as still looking!!

Kent has quite a high horse population, but not too many good, reliable farriers! Costs seem quite high in the south east too. We are lucky in that we have a good farrier but we pay a premium for that IMHO.
