I had no idea it was so difficult to find a sound nicely schooled horse. I'm searching again and have been for a while for a nice show riding type/riding horse. Can I find one NO!
People say that selling horses is a nightmare but I think buying is worse. Horses are described wrongly or just plain lied about. Do people not understand if you go and look you are going to see they are not what they are meant to be!!
So can anyone help me?
My wish list is:
Gelding 15hh-15.3hh
7-10years
Sound and vice free,
Correctly schooled
Does not have to jump

Am I the only one having this trouble??

It may be the age range as there are more youngsters and teenage horses on the market right now. Also a lot of people keep the good ones until about 10, then sell them on in their whilst still worth some money...

no you arent the only one. I do wonder where all the nice horses are hiding. Ive just put a wanted ad on horsequest so am hoping this may help. I went to see a horse at the weekend was told he was laid back but nervous in the stable. It took 2 people to hold him whilst I got on. Thats called laid back? hmm think im missing something here.
