I have a pretty good condition but old Jefferies event saddle. It is really comfortable and very well made but my saddler won't take it as he has more than two others the same and only really wants pony saddles atm.

Does anyone have experience of selling on e-bay? Would it be something that would sell? Or is there somewhere else i should try?

ebay is good I have sold 5 on there and also bought 2, just make sure you take lots of pictures and be really honest. Personally I have a no returns policy otherwise people buy them, then find out it doesn't fit and then try and send it back with a different excuse.

Sounds a nice saddle, should go well but then it depends on the price you want for it, Albions are pretty good sellers on there but nore sure about Jeffries. Good Luck

I recommend Ebay for selling a saddle. Recently sold one and everything went fine - no problem with payment either. Give it a try and see how you get on - if you don't sell, you can always go back to the shops/saddle fitters.

Just sold 3 this week - so far so good. But I'm having big problems finding decent boxes to pack them in (don't leave finding one til the last minute - you'll drive yourself insane like I'm doing at the moment).
I didn't start mine at all high and one in particular someone has a bargin on cos its nearly brand new - but I think thats why they sold.
Good luck selling yours!
