Ariat do some very nice one's that take a good polish, so look smart, they are about £80, is that too much for you ?
 
Ooh Kenzo, those look quite nice. £80 is ok but probably the most I'd go to

You may well ask. I wanted to buy a pair of the Ariat Classic but they were too long for my short, chunky legs and dug in behind the knee (painful when jumping). I ended up buying a pair of Tuffa Lippizaner Gaiters at £69.99. Due to the fact that I absolutely loathe "dressage tops" when worn anywhere apart from in a Dressage Arena (they look so ridiculous) - my wonderful saddler at Llwynon cut the tops down at a cost of £10. I now have a decent pair of leather gaiters which I can wear anywhere without looking like a total loon.
