adverts in local tack shops/feed shops/local livery yards perhaps
i muck out for money but have had to turn work down in the past if there are not enough horses in one place - 3 horses would only be at most 1 hrs work - so unless somone is very near it may not be worth their fuel costs

I would have a look in your local tack and feed shops and ask around. There are always people advertising in my local village shop.

You don't have to be horsey minded to muck out, just physically able - so if you put an ad in local shop don't make it too horse specific. Lots of gardeners have a bit of a slow Jan and Feb as there is no grass cutting and might just like an hour or two's work extra work every day.

But, don't be mean with the money. Better to pay reasonable well and have someone do it happily, than pay peanuts and get a monkey?
