A second hand body protector?

Just started riding a new pony and hacking at the new yard involves a fair bit of roadwork , so think its time to invest in one! I haven't brought one since I was about 13 (and I outgrew it after about 4 goes ). I remember it was pretty darn expensive too , about £120 if memory serves and I doubt they've got any cheaper .

Anyway , back to the point I'm looking for somewhere preferably online (as I don't drive so it would be better if it could be delivered) that sells reasonably priced or second hand body protectors?

Ohhh this is my first post on the 'new' HHO How exciting

(forgot to mention I've already looked on preloved and I don't have a paypal account or know how to set one up for ebay )

have you tried your local tack shops, riding schools, ad trader on line? lots of different places, how about your local pony/riding club (look them up online) they will most likely allow you to put an ad upx or try facebook? they have lots of horsey sites nowx good luck

Don't - get a new one, and make sure you get it correctly fitted by a trained fitter

Hi alfiesmum Thanks! I had completely forgotten about the facebook groups thing , I'm a member of my local horsey groups so have posted ads on there now, haven't set foot in a riding school in ages lol but will see if any local ones have classified sections on their websites , ditto local riding clubs Thanks a lot , hopefully something will come up

moana - I would , I do with all my hats but I just can't afford a body protector new I'm afraid
