Where do you advertise/look for horses?

I currently have a lovely horse for sale, but am not sure where to spend my money when it comes to advertising?

I have sold two this year but both were ponies - one sold via Facebook (after I forked out £100+ on advertising) and the other sold over Horsemart. She was the only lady who contacted me though..

I have used H&H online, but had no response (other than a b*****y sales guy calling me every other day trying to extend).

He is a 13yo BSJA schoolmaster, 16.3hh so not a pony this time going for less that £5k. Someone said Horsequest is good - has anyone used this for this type of horse? Or have people now resorted to using Facebook as it seems to get more response and is free?!

I like horsemart for it's ease of use. Never use H&H as they rarely give location of horse.

Other than that it's word of mouth through RC / PC. I've bought my last 3 via word of mouth.

Horsemart or horsedeals. (Mine got over 30,000 views on Horsedeals, but was sold from Horsemart!)

Horsequest & Pony Club are supposed to be the best but I found they dropped down too quick & the PC site didn't have specific enough search options. HH is ok but the last few times I've been on there, the search kept resetting & it drove me nuts so I stopped looking on there xx

I have just advertised my boy on Horsequest and have had a few responses in first 24hours. Got two viewings lined up.
When i am looking i always look on Horsequest and it doesnt bother me trawling through all the ads. I dont find the new Horse and hound classifieds so easy to use now.

I put mine on horsemart and had 3 viewings from it in the first week!

Also try Yardandgroom I had several calls from that.

When searching I look at Trade-it/horsemart, Horsequest, Horsedeals and sadly Preloved... although yours doesn't sound like a Preloved kind of horse (a lot of people ask for loans/ lwvtb/ installment payments etc on there!)

Horse Deals/HorseQuest for that sort of horse. Not HorseMart. Horse and Hound will be good if you get him in the magazine, their website is useless and people give up on it pretty quickly.

I like horse quest, very disappointed with H&H new site. horsemart seems to be a bit...errr.. not sure of the word. Not great.
