Any trustworthy dealers or studs over there I could get in contact with? Or are there places over here that could source for me?

I haven't got the confidence to go to the sales! lol

Thank you! :D

If you've got a friendly neighbourhood instructor they might be able to source something for you. There are some agents who will go to Ireland as well, with you - I do know of one but he's more of an eventer so might not be what you are after, and I don't know how much it costs.

Prestwood Farm, Clip Clop Traders and I think it's Southgate Farm or something, tend to be fairly well recommended on her. Prestwood are more connemara types but all Irish, CC bit more cob types. They will be a bit younger/green but I saw some nice ones when I went to visit recently.

What area are you in? I'm hoping to buy off someone on here (based on Oxfordshire) who I would recommend and I think she has a 5yo mare in to bring on and sell too - looks like a nice type.

I got mine from a local lady who breeds ID,that was 11 years ago, could check out if she still does it for you if you like.

That would be fab thank you!

I'll have a look at those thank you! :)

I'm in South Wales so pretty easy to get to most places. I'm after something to do a bit of everything with really but mainly focussing on the SJ & XC.

Not too bothered about the age say between 4 minimum & 9 - happy to bring something on if its the right horse but ideally something thats ready to take out this season even if its at a lower level due to its age. I'm thinking of the ISH route as being 6ft I can make a 16.2hh TB look small - I'm all legs lol, so something with a bit of substance but by no means a hunter type would be ideal to help take up my leg! 16.2hh + probably depending on build I'm looking for. Could you get anymore info on the mare? :)

I bought my 17 hander ISH as a 6yo from this place 14 years ago. We've done some of everything since then and he's now semi retired 20 year old living the life of riley!
