Where do you keep your phone

My friends all keep their phones on legs or a few clipped on a saddle, this seems strange to me as it can easily be lost. I keep mine in my bra as i know it cant fall out and is less likely to hit a hard surface if i fall. I know its not ideal but cant think of somewhere else, used to store in a jodhpur pocket untill a fall smasked it to pieces. Any suggestion or thoughts would be great.
 
Not on the saddle-what if they part company with horse? Are they gonna shout to horse to phone them a taxi home if he gallops off into the distance...?!?
 
Bra here... Outside not cleavage or it steams up... Jod pockets would just about hold three smarties and not much more... If I'm in jeans and shoved it in my back pocket I just know I'll land on it at some point...

I did try down the outside of my boot but I've very bony ankles (just about the only area that is! :rolleyes: ) and it irritated like crazy and was really uncomfortable once it had worked down to sit on the bone... I saw a phone holder type gadget that fixes around your arm with velcro somewhere - might try one of those...

Usually somewhere completely useless like the top of the rabbit hutches in the stables, or a bench, or in the house, or .... oh just about anywhere where I can't find it if I had to.

I generally have to phone it about three times a day to locate it. ;)

I don't like the stupid thing anyway, I managed without one for 4 years and didn't miss it at all, the only time I make an effort to find it is if I am riding or using any machinery which may bite me. Keep it in a shirt pocket.

LOL sounds a bit like me.

Bra normally, its a bit embarassing though when i forget its there and it rings, get some really weird looks .... :-)
 
I tend to try and wear a coat or body warmer all summer so i can keep it there, not that hard in england actually. Hoody pockets are usually useless, have seen my poor phone go flying many times. If it is really hot and i'm hacking i will stuff it in jods pocket but i'm constantly aware that if i do fall off it's probably going to cause me a nasty injury. Could just do as sjers do, keep it glued to your ear at all times ;)
 
In my bra, following conversation with doctor at a dinner party.
Saddle: Pointless, you fall off, horse goes, who has the phone?
Leg: Can get knocked off
Arm: Ditto
Hip pocket: Big no-no. One of the likeliest places you land on if thrown. Doctor said you seriously don't want crushed mobile embedded in your hip. Same goes for outer arm
Bra: Phone unlikely to be crushed in a fall. Wear slightly to the front - it's quite rare to come off a horse flat on your stomach, boobs.

In my case it lives in company with my car keys. Occasional surprised faces as I grope down my front. But after all, that's where all the best Madames keep their money, we're told!!
 
There's not room in my bra for a phone as well!!

I usually carry it in a right hand pocket (none times out of ten I fall off on the left) or in a bum bag along with the Polos, a tissue and, if I remember, a hoofpick.
 
Fortunatly in my jod or jean pocket on the right, as I was kicked right on the blackberry by a big frisky sports horse while taking my boy through his field on friday evening.

Got a bit of a bruise but if it hadn't been in the pocket I reckon I might be in the hosp now with a ruptured test-i-clay!
 
I always put my down my right boot (I have long boots) so it stays at the top and doesn't get in the way or irritate me at all, also means both me and phone are safe in fall :D

Used to put it down my bra until my riding instructor fell off and somehow ended up badly bruising a few ribs due to the phone and the under wiring of her bra. None the less it was an entertaining trip to the doctors :p
 
My bras not big enough for my phone! Out hacking my "polite" jacket has a zip up pocket. In the school there is always someone around so leave on yard or on mounting block if not raining.
 
Until this year my phone has always been small enough to put in my jodhpur pocket - now I have an iphone it won't fit there and I'm not sure where I'm going to put it! Never thought about putting it down the bra, might give it a go ;) I usually wear a lightweight hi-vi*jacket but on the boiling hot days I wear a tabard instead - have a polite one somewhere, must dig it out and wear that one if there's a pocket!
 
I keep mine in my bum bag along with satmap, hoof pick, trot keys, tissues, lip salve, money for ice cream ;)
 
I have an iPhone so too big for jods pocket. I now have one of those armband phone holders. I have also in the past put it down my chaps. Boobs/bra too small to hold a phone.
 
I have a phone bag that goes round your neck (like a long necklace) all of £3.99 from Tesco :) It then gets tucked into my BP when riding.

They ain't pretty but also have a zip up purse bit and a second pocket AND protect your screen so my phone lives in one permanently which also is my purse, receipt/bank card holder. Bonus use is that I slide car/house keys over the string so I don't lose them while I'm out...

snap - in my bra - causes a bit of hilarity when it rings. My friend says she's not phoning my OH if I fall off! A man from our yard had his on the saddle. The horse galloped into a tree and hit his leg so the man stopped and dismounted. As he hit the ground his thigh bone broke and the horse legged it -so never on the saddle!

I will be looking for one of them..today in a sleeveless top and lightweight breeches,...nowhere to put my iPhone and it will to fit in my bra!! Thanks for the tip,,!
 
I used to keep mine in my bra (tucked into the side of my sports bra) until one day I got so sweaty it stopped working properly until I dried it out. Gross I know!! Now I have to try and wear things with pockets if I hack.
 
In my field its kept in a bag hanging from a tree in the middle of my field so nobody can nick it without getting within my eyesight. During hacks I have been known to stick it between my jodhpur waistband - it has occasionally travelled south but fortunately never out of the other end of my trouser leg! There are phone things that attach to your arms like an ipod holder during a gym workout...keep meaning to buy one!
 
If i had it on my arm or leg i would fall off and smash it, I'm hoping as i have big boobs that even if i land boobs first i would be ok to call for help.
