Where do you keep your trailer? (if you have one!)

Quick question, where do you store your horse trailer? Someone suggested to me keeping mine on the drive with a car parked in front of it and a wheel clamp on it, would this be the safest way to keep it - it could be seen from the road? Or try to hide it out the back somewhere? Just wondered what everyone else does as there's quite a few trailer thefts in my area so am looking for the best way to store it?! Thanks

Yard...with a wheelclamp. Yard is locked at night with guard dogs.

Mind you - if anyone nicked mine right now they'd be in for a shock...it has no floor

when I had a trailer I kept it at the yard and even with a wheel clamp on it was still stolen luckily it was recovered 6 weeks later when I got it back it was parked on my parents driveway, with wheel clamp, box over the hitching point and the spare wheel removed. And overnight it had a car parked in front of it. It was in sight but as my folks knew everyone on the street, they all kept an eye out as quite a few were around during the day.

at home in secure shared driveway with wheel clamp and ball hitch lock - and park truck in front so you can't tow it out unless you move truck as well - truck obv locked etc

would be big hassel to get it in other words!

If I keep it out the back, there is no hard standing for it and in winter, it would be hard to get out for me but seems the best idea? Alternatively could put it on the drive with the Disco in front and volvo estate next to it and a wheel clamp? It's an old one anyway but maybe I should insure it? What do you all think?

out of sight in the drive shed with the tractor, quad and everything else.
Thefts are rare here, and if thieves come they come with guns, they can take anything they like in that case, I won't be stopping them.

mine was going to be locked securely round the side of my stables out of way but thought better of it when for the safety of my horses i doubted that if a thief took it they would leave the gates wide open so that the horses could get onto the road.
so now its parked on my car park, secrued with A frame bar sunk into the ground, hitch lock, and wheel clamp.

Mine is at a local yard with a wheel clamp and ball hitch lock fitted. The yard is also a busy working farm and the chances of anyone 'sneaking in' are pretty much nil. Still, it's locked and insured.
