Where do you land???

Bit bored at the mo and got thinking about it. When you fall off generally where do you land?? I know some people fall on their feet, literally! Some fall on their backside and if you're like me at least 90% of the time its straight up and down onto my head!! The good thing is I dont fall off too often!!!

Usually on my head or shoulder (broken collarbone). When I was a kid my mum got a visit from social services because I was always in hospital on a sunday night having my head x-rayed!! They never found anything though!??

Usually on my feet but as last time like Chex my leg snapped along with my ankle I will stick to my bum - there is plenty of padding there!

always seem to land on shoulder/back area... tend to injure myself more often by staying on (whip lash/torn muscles/ sprains and strains)

Generally my backside (which is good as there is plently of padding!) but last couple of times have been on my side so badly bruised my hip and pelvis area (the last time my instructor thought I had fractured my pelvis!)

It's never the same, last time I fell off I landed flat on my face!

Usually my back or shoulder. Potentially the worst fall I had was when the horse reared out on a hack on the road! I was absolutely amazed to find myself landing on my feet on that occasion as she went up completely vertical I just slid off her back!! God was with me that day!!

Bum... after having my old lad chuck me off nearly daily when i first got him, i learnt to sort of roll into a ball before I hit the ground.... bum being the heaviest part of me (yes it is rather big) gravity used to make it hit the floor first!

Usually head. Lost count of how many times I've been concussed over last twenty years. Thankfully this pattern seems to have stopped and last fall only suffered bruised pride.

Busually I manage to do some sort of flip and land on my feet though

I remember doing xc on a friends pony, pony stopped at fence as I went forward. I did a gambole through the air, over the jump landed on my feet and fell over laughing!!!

Well I fell off my horsey for the first time today, only had her 4 months, and my bum hurts lots. Plenty of padding though.

Oh god, I don't like thinking about it! Landed on my feet last year when Ty bronced with me, and when he reared straight up I sailed out the back door onto my back....worst way to fall I think!

one buttock or another. however i "slipped" off once, having undone the girth going up the drive and fellow horse nipped my mare so i slid round and decided not to tell the OH but when i got in the bath a couple of days later (i had baths in between but in private!!) and got caught, i got sussed by the huge green bruise on my backside that i didnt know was there so i had to own up!
