I have never advertised a horse before and am going to offer my mare for loan as a possible broodmare/light hack.
She is only suitable for light ridden work due to a kick injury, not from lameness due to a conformation problem etc or I wouldn't even think of advertising her as a broodmare. The vet who came to see her did say that she is fine to carry a foal and that if she was his as she is a lovely sort he would have a foal from her, it's just that I have neither the time nor experience. So, I would like her to have a foal, just not with me!
Where would be best to advertise for this sort of loan home as I haven't a clue where to start? I won't sell her as I have nightmares about her ending up in some Amersham type situation if I lost track of her, and and I will insist on a legal agreement being in place that says that she must never be passed on etc (hopefully saying I'm a solicitor will scare off the dodgy people!)
Thankies
