Where is Pippa Funnell's Ensign?

Was thinking today & began wondering about Ensign, Pippa Funnell's 4* horse. He competed with her at Badminton last year, but Pippa fell off, and I havent seen much of him since then/last year's season, has he been retired or just having some time off? Does anybody know?
It would be nice to see Pippa back riding at the top again, but I know shes got lots of youngsters that look very promising!

I don't think Ensign is truly a 4* horse. He is far more consistent at intermediate and up to 3*. He competed only two weeks ago at ALW so no, he is not off but I think she has decided to keep him at a lower level.

Hes not a 4* horse so she is playing with him at 3*.

Ohh right, i remember he got 3rd at Pau in 07 though which was pretty good, but yeah he never seemed to be as consistent. Thanks.

I think that fall clinched it, he really shouldn't have fallen if I remember correctly. Looked a usful sort but not a top horse

Ensign is entered for Bramham - seems to be staying away from 4* events
