lovely cb x tb mare. unsound due to field injury. Want home for light work, brood mare or companion. 16.hh, 14 years. Any ideas of the best place to advertise such a horse.

IMO I'd say project horses, people seem to be very honest with their discriptions which i think helps get the right person.

If she has cb papers and is nicely bred and looks typical of the breed then maybe someone would take her on as a broodmare? Esp if she had ability before becoming unsound. Would need to consider the reason for her unsoundness. Although it was due to a field injury, if the injury was more likely or more severe due to a conformational fault then you obviously couldn't go this route. I think the cb website would be a good place to advertise. Best of luck finding a good home for her. You might find it a little slow at the moment, coming into winter people might not be so willing to take on another horse.
