I am after a good mature pony as a companion and light hack, when i say light, i mean once a fortnight around the field, on the lanes. I have a gelding who has navicular and i Could do with a gelding friend for him. Where in Derbyshire or local Could i find such a gem? X

Homes4horses. An excellent organisation. Having rehomed my much loved horse via them I would highly recommend. I could of never found such a perfect home for her without their vetting etc.

Forgot to say that I want to rehome for the rest of the pony's life, definitely..most of the mature ponies have usually been passed from pillar to post and I couldnt just do that to him again. I knowingly bought my gelding with navicular, I just have a soft spot for the uneeded.x

I had the most amazing light hacking pony from the Blue Cross his only fault was he taught my horse to go through electric fences. He had been a top competition pony and was schooled to perfection, my lightweight adult friend had such fun riding him. Like most of the others, I would point you straight to the charities, as we all know they are completely overwhelmed at the moment and have some really lovely semi retired riding horses and ponies look for people just like you.

Wow, what a lovely and kind offer! However, at 5.1, 17.2hh is way out of my reach. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you and i hope the big fella finds a great home, with a kind owner, such as yourself. I had a look at horses4homes last night, they have to be homed within a 20 mile radius (the one that seemed good), i also looked on preloved, no luck as her, but i will keep my ear to theground. Thanks everyone.x

Teasle, I am not on facebook, but Thank you for trying. Honetpot, he sounds amazing, tired to join the forum, but it says my registration is pending....which makes me anxious he might be taken from me! Lol, he sounds like he needs a friend and a home. Fingers crossed, it wont be long before i can get my application in. Does it state the location? Annette, ive pmd you, so sorry to hear about saffy and your situation, funny how many people want rid in winter? Use them up in summer, as soon as the real graft needs doing, they go off the idea, hope you get what saffy deserves chik.x
Thanks everyone.x
