where is the cheapest place to buy Deosect,

If this is a follow on from the mites thread, have you considered white vinegar?

I had red mite in an aviary and did a bit of research. Mites are apparently fairly easy to kill and white vinegar works a treat. I bought it from Bookers, the discount store for caterers, at around £5 a gallon (5 litres to you). Just need to give everything a god soaking from a knapsack sprayer. I think that worked out the cheapest option. Maybe your chip shop would sell you a gallon or so?
 
Cheapest I have found is Hyperdrug £33.69 will be intersted if any where is cheaper. I asked my vet the other day £40.
 
I got a bottle from my vet for £10 not a big bottle but because you dilute it its lasted about 2+yrs! Infact its probobly out of date by now i should check! Lol
 
Not wanting to hijack this thread but have a quick question - those of you who use Deosect as a horse fly repellent, do you use a fly spray as well when you ride?

No I personallt do feel the need to spray extra spray. I usually give my pony a wash down once a week as she gets itchy and then respray, it has made such a difference with her not getting sore ears this summer very impressed
 
It is great stuff but please wear full protective clothing when you apply it, including a mask. My vet was most insistent.
