im getting so frustrated with trying to buy a horsebox, ive been looking for 6 weeks now and ive seen 2, one was terrible, the other lovely and if the living slept more than 1 i wold have snapped it up! ive got a good budget of around 25k, i know i can get one built for that but i dont want to wait weeks/months and have all the hassle of having one built, plus all the ones i can find for that money seem to be dodgy cowboys with no company address etc..

theres nothing on ebay, horsemart, horsequest, horsedeals, horseexchange, i dont like the thorpe boxes and the coachbuilders i do like dont have anything in stock and are above my budget anyway.

So does anyone want to sell me one of theirs? ;) or know of any good lorries for sale locally? want something 51+ reg, that will carry 2x horses +1x pony, thats no a rechassis job, with a nice functional living that sleeps 4 and a shower/toilet. nothing fancy! perhaps i am asking for too much???

the worst thing is, i thought it would take ages to sell my box bt it was snapped up for the asking price by the first people who viewed it and i now have no transport! argh !

help!

There are 2 for sale advertised up at my yard, can try remember to get the numbers for you if any help, it is south glos btw

ETS: I am not sure what spec they are so will check for you, dont think they are that big

We were in this situation a year ago(with way smaller budget!) Took us months to find something but it was worth the wait in the end!

I have one! I was planning on selling it at the end of the hunting season though - it's sligtly older (1998) but low mileage and well maintained. Always had everything done that needed doing :)

I like the fact that since it is pre-2001, it doesn't have to have a apeed limiter fitted :)
