Where to advertise for sale Scotland

Just wondering if any one has any ideas of where to advertise a horse for sale in scotland, he's been up for sale for a while but had no interest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as he is a lovely horse just not the right horse for my friend

The only horse I have sold since I have lived in Scotland I advertised in Scottish & Northern Equestrian. I put him on the website & in the magazine. In fact he sold off the website before the magazine even came out. Its very cheap so I would suggest that as a first port of call.

I have always used Scot Horse (think its www.horses-sales.com) with most success. Had no joy with Scottish Equestrian. Scot Ads is quite good too - its free as well, you just have to remember to keep re-submitting the advert once a week to keep it in the twice weekly newspaper.

he's on scot horse and ad horse at the moment but have had only a few phone calls about him but nothing has come from it
