have a 15.2 irish sport horse mare 5 and half yrs old. Fantastic temperment, huge jumping ability, currently working at 2ft6/ 2ft9 with scope to burn, schooling with lovely paces and just starting to work in an outline. Free unlimited riding offered - general riding and competing any day any time. I have 2 young kids and just cannot give this talented mare the time she needs so anyone exerienced out there wanting to ride come and see her. Agreement can be very flexible- ideally long term as just want to see her going out and having fun which is what she loves. To be kept at current yard in hastings east sussex with use of sand school, off road riding and quiet lanes. I deal for someone who cannot afford to buy their own horse.

Word of mouth's often a good way- maybe you could send an email round any local pony clubs/ riding clubs? Advertise in local horsey shops, competition centers? Good luck! xx

New rider has a free classified section.
Typekitty if you are in London have you looked on the horses section of www.movethat.co.uk, that has shares. But on both the sites I mentioned you can put an advert for a share horse. Before I bought mine, I found my share through someone answering an ad that I had put up.

without raining on anyones parade... if you are looking to share, then most people do want someone who can committ to riding during the week or will pay more for the weekends! We have some really lovely people sharing some of the horses at our yard but they do work the horses in the week as well..

Try your local riding school, they often have competent riders who are looking to get more riding experience, but don't want to buy their own, either because they aren't ready or because the can't comit the time or money.

If you'd been a little bit closer would have jumped at that! but your about an hour from me which is probs about 30 mins too much :(
