Where to advertise horse for sale in scotland?

I was thinking horsemart and horse and hound, but they seem to have alot more activity down south.

Any ideas?

www.horseselect.co.uk has lots of Scottish horses.

Depending on value, the yellow 'free ads' type paper if that still exists, was always first port of call for everyone I knew (Although they were not looking for top class competition horses)

I have had most success with the Scot Horse website, sold a few through that alone. Also agree with Scot Ads - I've bought several through that but it is more for "bargains" I've found... I wouldn't bother putting anything much over £2k in it - but then again its free to advertise so give it a go.

I've put mine on the Horse Quest website purely because so many people on here harp on about it! Bloody expensive if you ask me (£35) and so far have only had 1 enquiry. I know of people who have advertised in H&H but they've had ziltch from it.

I agree with the SNE website.

I got both my horses off this site.
Also if you pay a little extra they will include your ad in there monthly magazine.
