Hi guys ,

Just wondering where everyone advertise/ look to buy horse stuff . I have lots of new and second hand tack (rugs, bridles, leathers, jodhpurs etc) . Which I have advertised on Facebook in many different group and on preloved . Not sold a thing which is odd as there are some real bargains . Where should I try next ?

Many Thanks

Second eBay, I have sold loads on there.

Just be mindful you may lose > 10% in seller fees, unless you take advantage of the '£1 max. seller fees' but, these aren't available to all sellers.

If you sell the items elsewhere, providing you end the eBay listing before it has attracted bids or been sold, you shouldn't run into any bother.

Not true I'm afraid. They charge you a final value fee if it has any bids on at all, no matter what the reason

Are you sure your items are priced OK, ive sold loads of f/b marketplace, usually very quickly

Yer I think so I mean I have a new with tags Stockholm bridle paid £150 . I originally put it on at £100 reduced to £80 and now at £70 no interest. Saddle cloth new with tags paid £65 put it on for £25 no interest

Have a look for equestrian car boot/ table top sales in your area .
We live in a really horsey area and find stuff goes well at ordinary local car boot sales .
Put a sales list up in local feed/ tack shops /livery yards.
Ask a local ( busy ! ) rc/bsps/ht etc event/show if you could set up a table to sell stuff at the venue for a set fee/percentage of profits/ sponsorship of a class .
Have a garage sale - advertise as widely as possible before hand with good signage on the day .
