Where to buy green or brown rubber menage surface?

Hi everyone. I’m applying for planning permission in an area of outstanding natural beauty and I’ve been advised to make the proposed menage surface green or brown. I don't want to use wood chip, I want to use rubber. I simply cannot find a UK company that sells green or brown rubber surfaces for menages. Help!

I dont know if they still do it but Belvoir certainly used to, there's a testimonial on their website from 2008 that specified they went for the coloured stuff as manege was the view from kitchen window! Would be worth a call to check.

One of the letters on this page suggests that this company do coloured rubber. CAn't find it on their website but well worth a ring to see

We had combiride mixed with sand put down in our arena a few months ago. It rides lovely and just looks like sand unless you're on top of it - could this work?

Hi we definitely cant use sand. I have emailed this company - many thanks for the tip - to ask if they can supply green or brown rubber! If anyone knows of another company that can please reply to this thread!

Just had a quick google and there are plenty of coloured rubber crumb manufacturers. No idea if this would be suitable but again worth a look and an ask

thanks for this tip. I'm not sure rubber crumb is suitable for a horse menage surface - I honestly dont know if it is - but I have found a supplier of it and emailed them to ask! Anyone else know a coloured rubber menage surface provider I need green or brown rubber! Thanks

Combi -ride is essentially crumbs of rubber mixed with fibre and sand. I have that surface in my manège and it works really well . I would consider ringing combi ride and asking what they can do or if not getting a sample so you could compare rubber crumb in the correct colour from other companies to one specifically designed for it . Just a heads up with rubber surface in general- you need to be careful that your supplier guarantees or (99.9% guarantees) that the rubber is wire free as some is made from recycled car tyres. Hope you find what you need
